The training programme
When you join the firm you will complete a comprehensive induction programme to introduce you to the firm, our procedures and our business plan.
You will join the Trainee Academy which provides a comprehensive programme of seminars and practical workshops on basic and advanced legal skills during each of your four seats. In addition, as a trainee, you are invited to attend all other departmental meetings and training sessions.
On-the-job training is the key to your development. You will work on a variety of deals both large and small. Where possible you will deal direct with the client and you will be given every opportunity to develop your drafting and negotiating skills in real life situations. You are given the opportunity to shine and fulfil your potential from day one.
We will pay for your Professional Skills Course which will be undertaken externally.
CPE/LPC
Although we do not stipulate which electives you should take in your LPC, we do recommend that you take advanced courses in the key commercial areas in which we practise i.e. property, corporate, commercial and commercial litigation.
We do not offer financial assistance for the CPE or the LPC.
