Fladgate LLP is delighted to announce a major boost to its private capital practice with the appointment of partner and family specialist, Teresa Cullen. Teresa was managing partner of Rochman Landau LLP between 1990 and 2011, prior to its merger with Ashfords.
Teresa has a particular expertise in international and cross-border divorces and high value financial claims. She has advised on a wide range of cases involving inter-jurisdictional legal issues in continental Europe, Australia, Asia Pacific and the US. Her considerable experience will complement and diversify Fladgate’s existing private capital capability.
Teresa is an accredited mediator, a member of and examiner for the Law Society’s Advanced Family Law Panel and a fellow of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She is recommended in the Legal 500 (2013) as a leading family lawyer who “always goes the extra mile” for her clients and for “international cases with complex issues of law and fact”.
Commenting on the appointment, Fladgate’s Chairman, Charles Wander said: “During 2013 we announced a number of partner hires as part of our focus on strategic growth and this expansion continues in 2014. Teresa has an outstanding reputation in her field and is an excellent addition to our private capital practice. We are delighted to welcome her to our firm”.
Teresa Cullen added: “Fladgate’s approach to the provision of high quality legal advice across a wide range of commercial spheres made the chance to join its private capital team an appealing proposition. I was attracted by the firm’s genuine partner-led approach and its commitment to expand this area of its business. In addition, Fladgate’s established international dimension will complement the considerable offshore and multi-jurisdictional aspects of my practice.”
