Fladgate advises on new iconic structure for Brighton

Our team:

Fladgate LLP has advised Marks Barfield Architects and Brighton i360 on the construction documentation for a new 162 metre high observation tower on Brighton’s seafront. Contractors from Holland, France, England and Australia will be involved in the project.

The Brighton i360 is set to be a spectacular attraction and will be the cornerstone for the regeneration of Brighton’s seafront by the former West Pier. David Marks of Marks Barfield Architects, the award winning team behind the London Eye, is the creator of Brighton i360.

It is expected that construction work will begin later in 2014 with the attraction due to open in summer 2016.

Partner Frances Alderson, a member of Fladgate’s construction and projects team, advised on the project with assistance from Chris Farrell.
