Our team: Graham Spitz, Daniel Polden, Luke Morris

Fladgate LLP is delighted to announce the appointments of real estate and finance partner Daniel Polden; corporate partner Graham Spitz; and banking partner Luke Morris, all of whom join from the London office of Locke Lord.

Daniel is a real estate and finance lawyer with over 30 years’ experience. His clients include real estate investors and developers, lenders and borrowers, from the UK and overseas. He has developed his relationships by bringing a “value added” approach, working closely with his clients and contacts to give high quality practical and technical advice and helping them to enhance their commercial positions.

Graham specialises in corporate finance and private equity. He also advises distressed private equity funds in relation to structuring and corporate issues. He has been involved in numerous cross border real estate matters, particularly in Eastern Europe. Graham has worked with Daniel for over 10 years on the corporate aspects of real estate transactions.

Luke, who has undertaken a number of transactions with both Daniel and Graham, advises lenders, financial institutions, real estate developers and investors, corporates, private equity houses and funds on a broad range of debt financing transactions. These include leveraged buy-outs, corporate loans, development and investment financings, refinancings, recapitalisations and restructurings.

Fladgate’s Chairman, Charles Wander commented: “These appointments are made into two of our core practice areas, real estate and corporate, and follow a record 2014 for both groups, giving rise to further double digit growth for the firm. They reflect our continuing strategic investment as we expand our capabilities and we are delighted to welcome Daniel, Graham and Luke to Fladgate. Their broad range of experience and significant practices will make them excellent additions to the firm.”
