Home / Insights / Fladgate advises on Bristol Airport hotel construction
Fladgate LLP advised CIMC Developments Limited on the conditional exchange of development agreements for leases between the owners of Bristol Airport and CIMC for CIMC to construct and thereafter own a 251 bedroom hotel.
On completion, the hotel will be managed by Hilton under their “Hampton by Hilton” brand.
CIMC Developments is part of CIMC’s modular building division and a market leading provider in the development, finance and construction of hotel, student accommodation and apartment projects using off-site modular construction. Operating both in the UK and internationally under the CIMC MBS brand, it forms part of the Chinese owned CIMC Group listed on the Shenzhen and Hong Kong stock exchanges.
Partners James Fry and Alan Woolston advised respectively on the property and construction aspects. Commercial partner Eddie Powell continues to advise on negotiations with Hilton.
