Fladgate LLP has advised Dominions House Limited on the sale of a vacant former office block in central Cardiff as part of a BPRA deal that will see it converted into a luxury hotel and restaurant. Being a BPRA deal, the sale had to complete by the end of the 2014/15 financial year and the bank holiday timings reduced the window even further. The cross firm team also advised the developer, Sanguine Hospitality, who will be carrying out the property conversion and was responsible for putting the deal together.
The Fladgate team was led by corporate partner Julian Lewis and real estate partner Matthew Williams, assisted by senior associates Gavin Whitney, Rebecca Tavares, Sam Tye and Chris Farrell.
