Fladgate advised the owner of Aldgate Tower Investments (ATI), on the sale of 100% of the shares in ATI to a joint venture between China Life and Brookfield Property Partners for £346,000,000.
ATI is the owner of Aldgate Tower, a 317,000 sq ft office building in Aldgate which was completed in November 2014 and is now substantially let. The tenants include AECOM, Uber, Tag Worldwide, WeWork, the Intellectual Property Office and Ince & Co LLP.
Fladgate real estate partner Nick Mumby has advised on the full life-cycle of the development – from the acquisition in 2010, construction, refinancing and all lettings, to the sale. He was assisted on the sale by corporate partner Amy Collins, tax partner Hamilton Forrest, senior associate Chris Farrell and associates Edmund Willis and Adrian Mawlabaux.
