Fladgate has advised on the acquisition of a large Central London office premises for Halkin Management Company Limited, a service office provider and part of the Kingshott Holdings group. The premises are located on Paris Garden SE1, are let for 10 years and have a headline rent of over £2m pa.  Collyer Bristow acted for the landlord, Overcourt Limited.

Gavin Whitney, property partner and lead lawyer on the acquisition, commented: “Such is the demand for serviced office space in Central London that the client had potential occupiers knocking on its door to get into the new premises even before they had fitted out. It was therefore imperative that we concluded the deal quickly and efficiently and allowed the client to commence its works at the earliest possible time.”

As well as Gavin, the Fladgate team comprised planning real estate associate Miles Crawford and tax associate Gemma Grunewald.

Michael Kingshott, chairman of Kingshott Holdings, commented: “Fladgate’s dedicated team enabled Halkin to get this exciting project over the line in super quick time.”

The client partner for Halkin and Kingshott is Julian Lewis.
