Fladgate advises an off-shore group on a disposal and an acquisition

Our team: Roland Brandman, Miles Crawford, Gideon Dabby-Joory, Adam Baker, Alex Haffner, Nick Wood

Fladgate LLP has advised Parkside Investments Limited, a Jersey company, in connection with the acquisition of a large site in Hendon, north west London, for approximately £9.5m.  The site is used as a motor dealership and servicing centre and is let to Honda Motor Europe Limited.  The site represents a short term investment acquisition with a significant long term development potential in an area of north west London which is undergoing substantial regeneration.

In late 2018 Fladgate advised an affiliated company in connection with the sale of Kingmaker House in New Barnet for a large scale residential development. The site was sold for £16.5m to a Private SPV. Our client had previously secured the requisite planning permission to convert this tired 1970s office block to residential use to provide much needed housing in an area which suffers from a shortage of “starter homes” of the nature permitted.

Real estate partner Gideon Dabby-Joory led the teams on both transactions.  The acquisition team comprised real estate senior associate Roland Brandman, real estate associate Nick Wood, planning associate Miles Crawford and competition partner Alex Haffner.  The disposal team comprised real estate senior associate Adam Baker and tax associate Anthony Reeves.
