Fladgate sponsors the inaugural Women in Sport edition of Everything In Sport

Our team: James Earl, Alex Haffner

Fladgate is delighted to sponsor the inaugural Everything In Sport, Women Edition conference and in particular to be sponsoring the PowerPlay track at the event. The Firm will also present the Innovation / Technology Contribution in Women’s Sport 2019 award at a dinner to be held after the second day of the event.

To be held at the iconic London Stadium on 3rd and 4th December, the two-day event will gather the most influential individuals and organisations around the world, including sport buyers, institutional investors, suppliers and C-suite executives to share insights on promoting gender equality and empowering women in sport.

James Earl, Head of the Sports Business Group, commented, “we are very pleased to be part of Everything In Sport, Women Edition. Diversity and gender equality are paramount to the continuing success of the sport sector, which is undergoing a transformation driven by technology. Sport-tech is already a key part of the sports sector but we believe it will only continue to grow and soon dominate the discussions in the sport sector.”

Partner Alex Haffner will host the PowerPlay session on the first day of the event, where sport-tech start-ups focused on women in sport will present their products in a Peka Chuka format. The session will provide an opportunity for these innovative companies to attract new investments to support their growth.

Alex added, “the PowerPlay session provides an ideal platform for women in sport-tech to attract the investments they need to supercharge their growth. We look forward to finding out how these innovators woo the investors.”

Joe Smith, Co-Founder of Everything In Sport, said: “we are excited to have Fladgate’s support in our inaugural Everything In Sport, Women Edition, which creates the opportunity for individuals and organisations in the sport sector from different parts of the world to connect, learn and share.”
