Fladgate is delighted to announce the appointment of commercial litigation and international arbitration specialist John Evans as a partner in the Firm’s Dispute Resolution department.
John brings with him a wealth of international commercial arbitration experience spanning across Europe, the US, Africa, Russia and the CIS. He has acted for both claimants and respondents in numerous complex and high value claims including fraud claims and those in the commodities, energy, natural resources and telecoms sectors before many of the arbitral institutions. He also has considerable expertise in handling multi-jurisdictional enforcement as well as collective actions.
Joining from Kerman & Co, John is also known for his contentious and non-contentious intellectual property work including trade mark filings, opposition, invalidation and infringement proceedings, brand and portfolio management, copyright and design right claims, defamation and data scraping actions.
