Fladgate is delighted to sponsor the 1st Turkish British Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TBCCI) London UK-Turkey Business Forum, after joining TBCCI in January to expand the reach of its international desk to this significant emerging market economy and G20 member.
To be held on 30 April 2020, the TBCCI Forum provides a networking and knowledge sharing platform for corporates, professionals, officials, academics and business people who are engaged in doing business between the UK and Turkey.
Fladgate Corporate Partners David Robinson and Charles Proctor will be speaking at the forum about the benefits an IPO in the UK can bring to Turkish companies, and the broader fintech and financial services sectors in the UK.
Ravi Goonesena, Partner in the firm’s Corporate Department, said, “As a director of the TBCCI, I am proud of all the impact which TBCCI has made in the forefront of promoting bilateral trade, investment and business opportunities between the UK and Turkey since 1980. We are very pleased to be given the chance to share our insights and legal expertise on some of the most prominent topics that support this mission.”
Alderman Emma Edhem, TBCCI Chairman, added: “this Forum provides an excellent platform for people and corporates to exchange views on how to promote bilateral trade and investment between Turkey and the UK. We are pleased to have the support from Fladgate, and their inputs in shaping the discussions at the Forum. We look forward to welcoming all the members and speakers at the Forum.”
