Later this month, the family responsible for opening restaurants including Roka, Zuma and the Arts Club will open Meraki in the heart of London’s Fitzrovia. Fladgate is delighted to have been able to assist with the project.
“Meraki” is a Greek term referring to the love and soul that someone puts into their work. Meraki was born out of a desire to offer the finest Mediterranean ingredients with warm, generous, hospitality and stylish cosmopolitan flare. Meraki instils the principle of Greek hospitality, filoxenia, in everything from its creative sharing dishes to the spaces for dining and entertaining.
Led by Greek chef Dimitrios Siamanis, Meraki’s menu will celebrate produce that he and the team have sourced from the length of and breadth of Greece’s regions, including bottarga from Mesologgi, graviera cheese from Naxos and galotiri cheese from Crete.
