Fladgate LLP has acted for London & Regional on the finance aspects of the refinancing of the Hilton, Park Lane. The hotel is Hilton’s flagship in London, opening in 1963. The 28 storey hotel includes a Michelin starred restaurant, Galvin at Windows on the top floor.
The refinancing was by way of a senior facility provided by BNP Paribas and a mezzanine facility provided by an Asian lender.
This follows the successful completion of the financing of 55 Baker Street which the Fladgate’s team acted on in 2017.
The Fladgate team was led by finance partner Gary Smith assisted by finance partner Charles Proctor, banking associate Daniel Whebell and tax associate Anthony Reeves.
Commenting on the transaction Gary said: “We were delighted to have been involved in the financing of such a well-known hotel and complete our second major transaction for London & Regional in 6 months.”
Reed Smith advised London & Regional on the real estate aspects of the transaction; the other parties were represented by Norton Rose and Berwin Leighton Paisner.
