As a paralegal, your role is to provide administrative and fee earning support to the construction department a wide range of matters. The role will involve a combination of junior case management, working with fee earners on a number of high profile cases and administrative support, by overseeing the work of the paralegal administration team and taking responsibility of more complex administrative tasks.
This role offers the opportunity to take high levels of responsibility and will include direct client contact for an ambitious candidate keen to develop their legal and administrative skills. It is likely that the role will involve the need to work longer than “normal” office hours.
In addition to supporting your fee earners with their matters, you will also be expected to become a proactive member of our friendly and supportive paralegal team. This involves taking a proactive role in contributing to the running of the department and the enhancement of working practices, maintaining and constantly improving quality standards and our service to clients. The team also meet regularly to share ideas on best practice and to consider the latest legal developments and opportunities may arise for you to chair and present at meetings.
