As the firm grows and moves into the next three year phase of its business plan it is seeking to expand the BD team. As a result of this and the fact that the existing BD team member responsible for Corporate has resigned this role has become vacant.

Corporate is a critical part of the firm’s ambitions moving forward and there are a number of significant projects and programmes anticipated with the aim of further enhancing the department’s profile and ensure we are seen as a leading specialist in its practice area and across certain sectors. This is an opportunity to join our small (7) but growing team. The new BD Director who has just joined from another law firm will be leading an exciting and wide-ranging change programme aimed at increasing the impact and effectiveness of business development, marketing and communications activities within the firm. This role would suit a dynamic, astute and enthusiastic marketer, who is seeking to have a real impact in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment in a team under new leadership.

As BD Manager in the BD and marketing department, your role will be a combination of helping drive and exciting new strategic marketing agenda including a major rebrand for the firm along with being responsible for the day to day business development support for Corporate.

This will include: developing marketing, BD and CRM plans; working with the lead partners on their client development plans, leading pitches (although this is not a pitch heavy role), co-ordinating marketing support to increase profile (such as speaking at industry conferences, contributing to trade publications); identifying strategic campaigns where the firm can create client-focused collateral and ensuring our experience data is accurate, as well as other day to day BD support.
