Alan Erwin is a partner in the construction department at Fladgate.

He specialises in the drafting and negotiation of construction and engineering contracts including dealing with the contractual issues which arise during the course of a project.

Alan acts for developers, property owners and also for a number of German, Austrian and Italian contractors in relation to renewable energy related plant contracts.

An example of the transactions on which Alan has advised is acting for U+I Group PLC on a PPP development at St Mark’s Square, Bromley, including cafés, restaurants, a 130 room hotel and a 400 space underground car parking facility.

Alan is ranked as a leading lawyer by the Chambers Guide to the UK Legal Profession and is a member and director of the Society of Construction Law.

He qualified in 1989 and joined Fladgate in July 1996. He was promoted to partner in May 2000.
