Anthony Shatz is a partner in the corporate department at Fladgate.
Anthony specialises in M&A and investment funds, and has deep experience of particular sectors including real estate, private equity, aerospace and professional services (in particular transactions involving law firms). He particularly enjoys advising on structured, cross border or multi-faceted transactions; and has also acted for multiple US corporates and institutions in relation to their UK transactions.
Clients include Griffen, Clipstone, Larchpoint Capital, Lincoln Private Family Office, Azur, Sierra Nevada Corporation and Aalberts Industries.
He has authored two guides in conjunction with the BVCA, one on real estate funds and the other on fund restructurings (which are available on request); maintains PLC’s note on real estate joint ventures; and has recently updated Fladgate’s guide to “Doing Business in the UK”.
Anthony qualified into SJ Berwin’s corporate team in 1999 and was promoted to partner in 2008. Prior to joining Fladgate, Anthony was a partner in RPC’s corporate team from 2013 to 2019.
