Douglas is a construction associate (qualified in Scotland).  He specialises in contentious construction, acting for employers, consultants and contractors in a wide range of construction and engineering disputes – including in litigation, arbitration and adjudication.

His experience includes disputes arising from delay and disruption, payment, variation and termination of contract.

In addition to representing clients in dispute resolution proceedings, Douglas has provided strategic advice to clients on a variety of contractual issues. He has advised on construction contracts, both standard form and bespoke, including PFI contracts.

Douglas joined Fladgate in 2016, having qualified as a solicitor in September 2013.
