Hollie Docherty is a senior associate in the construction department at Fladgate.

She specialises in construction and engineering law and acts for a range of clients including funders, developers, contractors and consultants to tenants and high-end owner occupiers. She provides advice throughout the life of a construction project including funding, construction and disposal.

Hollie has advised on and negotiated bespoke contracts and many of the standard forms of contracts. Hollie’s experience covers a wide range of construction sectors including retail, cinemas, supermarkets, casinos, industrial estates, hotels, high-end residential, care homes, energy and PFI. She also has experience of projects using construction management and development management procurement, and projects incorporating building information modelling (BIM).

An example of a development on which Hollie has advised is acting for U+I PLC in respect of a £130m major regeneration scheme known as Circus Street in Brighton including preparing, negotiating and settling the construction documents and provided construction input into the property and funding documents.

She qualified in 2011 and joined Fladgate in August 2014. She was promoted to senior associate in 2018.
