Leanne Meredith is an associate in the real estate department at Fladgate.

She advises on a broad range of both commercial and residential property disputes. She acts on behalf of a range of clients including institutional investors, developers, commercial landlords and private individuals.

Her work includes providing clients with advice regarding dilapidations claims, tenant insolvency issues and disputes about nuisance and trespass, as well acting for clients in relation to both opposed and unopposed lease renewals. Leanne has expertise in acting for both operators and landlords in disputes concerning telecoms masts under both the new and old electronic communications codes.

Examples of matters which Leanne has advised on include advising a developer client regarding its right to redevelop a site in light of unclear provisions in a commercial lease of that site; and advising another client on how it might obtain vacant possession of a shopping centre so that the centre may be redeveloped. She has also provided strategic advice and assistance to a number of landlords of telecoms sites who have required the removal of electronic communications apparatus from their property.

Leanne joined Fladgate in January 2017, having qualified into real estate litigation in March 2014. She is a committee member of the junior Property Litigation Association. Having studied at the University of Regensburg, she is also a fluent German speaker and acts for German speaking clients.
