Mike is a senior associate in the employment team.
Mike qualified in 2008 and joined Fladgate in 2011. During his career he has assisted clients with a full range of employment queries. The clients he advises include individuals, small family-run companies, large multinational corporations, and everything in between.
Mike has experience of dealing with all aspects of employment law and regularly assists clients with day-to-day advice on grievance and disciplinary matters, the termination of senior executives, complex discrimination and other employment tribunal claims, post-termination restriction disputes (arising both on recruitment and termination), corporate due diligence and other transactional support. Recently he has provided advice on a large number of property transactions, helping sellers, buyers and management companies to understand their obligations under TUPE and the consequences that it has on their business.
In addition to providing specific advice to clients, Mike also writes regular updates and articles on employment law, and creates and delivers training and events in these areas, including speaking on an annual basis at the UK’s largest payroll conference.
