Mike has been advising clients on employment law and HR matters since 2006.  With a broad practice, the clients he advises include individuals, family-run businesses, large multinational corporations and everything in between.

Mike regularly assists clients with strategic and day-to-day advice on grievance and disciplinary matters, the termination of senior executives, complex discrimination and other employment tribunal claims, post-termination restriction disputes (arising both on recruitment and termination), corporate due diligence and other transactional support. Over recent years he has provided advice on a large number of property transactions, helping sellers, buyers and management companies to understand their obligations under TUPE and the consequences that it has on their business.

In addition to providing specific advice to clients, Mike also writes updates and articles on employment law, and creates and delivers training and events in these areas, including speaking on an annual basis at the UK’s largest payroll conference.

Mike has been individually recognised in the Legal 500 since 2016 and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
