Thekla Fellas is a partner in the real estate department at Fladgate.

She is head of the real estate litigation team and specialises in all aspects of real estate disputes, including disputes on rights of way, rights of light, party walls, trespass, nuisance, commercial and residential landlord and tenant law and management issues. She is a leading expert in telecommunications disputes under the Electronic Communications Code.

Thekla acts for landowners and developers, both residential and commercial.

An example of the matters on which Thekla has advised is acting on behalf of Crest Nicholson (Operations) Limited seeking the removal of Arqiva’s telecommunications apparatus from its residential development site at the former Cambridge City Football Club.

Thekla is consistently ranked as a leading real estate litigation lawyer by the independent guides to the legal profession.

She is an ADR accredited mediator and a member of the Property Litigation Association, sitting on their Law Reform committee.

She was involved in consultations on the new Electronic Communications Code and in consultations with the Law Commission.

Thekla originally qualified as a barrister and now holds dual qualification as a barrister (non-practising) and a solicitor. She regularly gives seminars and webinars to clients and other property professionals and writes for legal and real estate publications.
