About
I am an associate in the corporate department focusing on mergers and acquisitions, public takeovers, venture capital and equity capital markets transactions. I also provide general corporate advice to company founders and directors.
I joined Fladgate’s corporate team in February 2025.
I have experience working with both UK and internationally based clients on a broad range of corporate transactional work, including advising on both public and private M&A, public takeovers, venture capital, asset acquisitions and disposals, private equity and equity capital markets.
One aspect of my work that I particularly enjoy is building and nourishing strong relations with clients, both on a human and technical level. I find that attaining a deeper understanding of both the business and people involved drives results in an efficient and pragmatic manner. It’s also a bonus to drive a deal across the line alongside people you enjoy working with.
Outside of work, you can find me in the gym, reading or seeking exotic locations to scuba dive. In a past life, I was a performance analyst coach for a couple of professional basketball teams in the UK (so I am always keen to talk hoops if football isn’t your bag).
Experience
- Advising an acquisition vehicle indirectly owned by Luke Johnson and Ian Livingstone on its recommended £85.4 million takeover of Inspecs Group Plc for cash consideration with an unlisted securities alternative (and its switch from a court-sanctioned scheme of arrangement to a contractual takeover offer).
- Advising Intelligent Ultrasound Group on the £40.5 million disposal of its clinical AI business to GE Healthcare and subsequent court-sanctioned scheme of arrangement concerning a successful recommended £45.2 million all-cash offer for its entire issued share capital acquired by Surgical Sciences in accordance with the UK Takeover Code.*
- Advising RSK Group Limited on the acquisition of multiple environmental, engineering, technical and advisory-based businesses and its internal corporate governance.
- Advising a US private equity-backed leading global provider of governance, risk management, and compliance on its acquisition of a digital trust consultancy business spanning the UK, US, Ireland and Japan.
- Advising venture capital funds and various SMEs across the technology, gaming, fashion and healthcare sectors on their primary and secondary investments and fundraising rounds from seed to Series B stage.
- Advising various AIM-traded companies in the natural resources sector on their secondary fundraisings and placings of shares.*
