About
I have considerable experience in all areas of family law, and I have acted for a wide variety of clients both internationally and throughout the UK, but especially cases that require substantial client care. As well as family law, I have expertise in art and cultural property law, so I am particularly adept at dealing with high net worth divorces and dissolution of civil partnerships where knowledge of the art market is required.
My family practice includes a mix of financial remedies, private children law and modern families work. Dealing with domestic abuse and other trauma related issues in family cases is an integral part of my work. In 2022 I was appointed to Resolution’s Domestic Abuse Committee to assist with its work on developing and promoting awareness of issues on all aspects of domestic abuse. In 2024 I was elected as Co-Chair of that committee. In 2025 I created and implemented the firm’s policy to support employees who are navigating the breakdown of a relationship. This policy included educating people on the legal repercussions of separating from a partner, as well as addressing relationship issues such as domestic abuse. This initiative received recognition in the Law Society Gazette for being “the first” of its kind.
I support Resolution’s constructive approach to family issues, while considering the needs of the whole family. My aim is to take a caring and empathetic approach whilst also protecting and promoting my client’s best interests.
My art and cultural property practice includes both a range of contentious and non-contentious matters for private clients. My areas of expertise include disputes involving attribution, provenance, title, authenticity, and illegally trafficked goods.
In 2021 I set up “PING”, the Next Generation arm of the Professional Advisors to the International Art Market (“PAIAM”), chairing the Committee until December 2023, when I was promoted to the main Board for the UK and Europe. In July 2024 I was appointed as Vice Chair of the PAIAM Board (UK and Europe), following which in March 2025 I was elected as the organisation’s Chair.

- Advising on complex, multifaceted financial remedy applications involving trust assets, family wealth or inheritance.
- Advising on divorces with an international element, including jurisdiction races in Dubai and Russia, and cross border matrimonial disputes.
- Advising on family law cases where family and criminal issues need to be considered in tandem.
- Pre and postnuptial agreements.
- Advising on all issues concerning the arrangements for children, particularly cases involving parental alienation, developmental disorders such as autism, relocation within or outside of England and Wales (also known as leave to remove) and financial provision for children.
