Before specialising in UK immigration, asylum and nationality law, I spent years in criminal law practice defending individuals from the police station up to the Courts. I then moved to representing and assisting individuals and families who sought asylum in the UK and resisting removal from the UK.

By virtue of the complexity of UK immigration law, I found myself advising corporations their responsibilities to the Home Office when hiring foreign workers and the consequences of non-compliance. I work closely with the business operations teams and HR teams, advising them not only about sponsoring a foreign worker, but also advising on the impact of the immigration laws on their future strategy plans.
