We act across a broad swathe of corporate matters in the UK and internationally on both public and private deals.
I have over 10 years’ experience of acting on corporate matters and specialise in advising on public company and private company mergers and acquisitions (M&A), equity capital markets, joint ventures and private equity.
My background in corporate law is broad with a particular focus on public and private M&A, equity capital markets (particularly AIM), joint ventures and private equity. Being a senior associate in the corporate department requires flexibility and can mean dealing with anything from a large, complex cross-jurisdictional transaction to advising on the everyday running of a company all in one morning. As a result, I act for a diverse range of clients including shareholders, directors, entrepreneurs, companies, nominated advisers and investors.
Whilst I enjoy a thought provoking technical legal challenge, achieving successful outcomes for clients is what drives me. I appreciate the importance of taking a pragmatic approach on transactions and getting deals done. I particularly pride myself on being able to provide clear, concise, entrepreneurial and efficient advice to clients in order to help them navigate the law and achieve objectives. Transactions I act on most often have a cross-border element and span across a variety of sectors including healthcare, technology and real estate.
In addition to my private practice background, I have also spent time as an in-house lawyer. As such I have first-hand experience of what it feels like to be the client and understand the level of service and attitude clients are looking for from their external solicitors.
I have two young children so my free time is often spent taking trips to the park, zoo and other fun days out. When time and childcare permit, my inner foodie enjoys trying new restaurants and eateries.
