Our client, Squarepoint Capital, has recently committed to a pre-letting of a new landmark headquarter building at 65 Gresham Street.
Squarepoint Capital are a privately owned global investment management firm with a reach spanning across 13 cities. They have deep expertise across Quantitative Investment Management, Technology and Trading Operations.
At 400,000 square feet, the new headquarter building is set to be one of the largest building reuse projects in the City of London.
We have been working with Squarepoint Capital since 2018, advising them on their expansion within Citypoint, and now assisting them with this landmark project.
The deal was led by Real Estate Partner Alan Karsberg with support from the Real Estate team including Partner Kirsty Corkum, Senior Associate Fiona Smith, Senior Associate Miles Crawford, Associate Jacqueline Holder, and Paralegal Georgia Betts, with further assistance from our Construction team, Partner Joanne Kelly, Senior Associate James Ashwin, and our Tax Consultant Neal Todd. Our team worked alongside Clifford Chance and Simmons and Simmons advising both the developer and the landlord. CBRE advised Squarepoint and RX London the developer.
