I am a litigation and arbitration solicitor specialising in company, commercial and insolvency disputes.

I help clients resolve commercial disputes through High Court litigation, international arbitration, mediation, and negotiation. I assist with matters concerning breach of contract, shareholder and partnership disputes, insolvency claims (both corporate and personal), fraud and breach of trust.

I often act for high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, directors, shareholders, insolvency practitioners and private companies across various sectors, including manufacturing, property, energy, technology, and finance.

I have a pragmatic approach and aim to steer clients through disputes effectively and efficiently.

Experience

Defending a German manufacturer in a breach of contract claim relating to the supply of renewable energy products to a UK development. The dispute settled shortly before trial.

Acting for a claimant in a partnership dispute. Successfully obtained judgment at trial.

Representing defendant developers at trial in a dispute concerning covenants against construction. The parties ultimately resolved matters by agreement.

Acting for a large private equity fund regarding a contested non-party disclosure application, which required careful management in setting up and using a complex confidentiality club. Numerous days of a substantial trial were ordered to be heard in private to protect the client’s confidential information.

Assisting a large US company in an international ICC arbitration concerning the interpretation of a joint venture agreement in the live entertainment industry, which settled before the final hearing.

Acting for a respondent to ICC arbitration proceedings concerning a dispute arising out of a stock purchase agreement.

Advising a high-net-worth French national on a significant civil fraud claim involving multiple jurisdictions across Europe and the US.

Acting for an executor in breach of trust proceedings. Once judgment was successfully obtained, it was enforced against the judgment debtor and the full judgment debt was recovered.

Acting for a defendant director in a substantial breach of fiduciary duty claim brought by the liquidators of an insolvent company.

Representing a restaurant group in an HMRC investigation, which ultimately settled. The matter also involved the successful defence of winding-up proceedings brought against the client companies.

Defending a high-net-worth individual in bankruptcy proceedings brought by multiple creditors regarding significant sums of money. Following a number of adjournments of the petition, the proceedings were dismissed by consent.
