With increased regulatory interest in the manner of business, I focus on promoting strategies that assist clients in avoiding problems and help manage them when they arise.

I major in investigations, take on advisory work, as well as lead on matters relating to technology and digital assets, payment services, and consumer credit. I have experience in relation to Financial Conduct Authority, Prudential Regulation Authority and Financial Reporting Council enforcement matters and regulatory processes. I also work on other corporate investigations and matters relating to civil fraud and asset tracing.

I previously worked within the Supervision and Enforcement and Financial Crime divisions of what was then the Financial Services Authority.

I work with all types of Financial Services-regulated institutions, and count amongst my clients: banks, funds, fund managers, building societies, investment advisors and managers, e-money issuers, payment service providers, broker dealers, and consumer credit firms. My Financial Reporting Council work is with audit and consultancy firms.

I am used to handling matters spanning many jurisdictions and involving multiple investigators and regulators.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about music, with my favourite genres including early Jazz and Somalian Disco-Funk. I also enjoy reading (and writing) Sci-Fi novels, as well as taking long walks with my silver Labrador, Pepper.
