I'm Fladgate's General Counsel, COLP, MLCO and a member of the Partnership Executive Board.

Before taking on this role I was a Partner in the corporate department and have over 20 years' experience, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, investment, reorganisations and corporate governance.

My practice had a focus on indirect and structured real estate work from early on and I advised on numerous corporate property acquisitions and disposals, property unit trusts and property joint ventures (many of which have had a cross border dimension). I also advised clients in the media and technology, hotels, leisure and retail, recruitment, engineering and mining sectors.

Experience

Acting for a Guernsey fund on the purchase and subsequent sale of a property SPV owning a development site at Buckingham Gate.
Acting for a listed REIT on the acquisition of a holdco/opco structure owning two SPVs as part of a wider portfolio transaction.
Acting for Ocado on the sale of Marie Claire Beauty Limited to Next Plc.
Acting for the sellers on the £220m sale of Red Tiger Gaming Limited (a leading online casino game software supplier) to NetEnt.
Acting for the owner of Aldgate Tower Investments (ATI), on the sale of 100% of the shares in ATI to a joint venture between China Life and Brookfield Property Partners for £346,000,000.
