My role is to guide my clients through sales or acquisitions, providing clear and pragmatic legal advice to meet their commercial goals. I take a hands-on approach, enthusiastically driving transactions and building good working relationships with all parties. I have experience of M&A transactions across various sectors and jurisdictions, ranging from acquisitions in the environmental sector to sales in the professional services space.

I also advise companies and investors on venture capital investments. I enjoy meeting founders early in their fundraising journey to understand what drives their businesses and to become their trusted adviser. It is most rewarding to see a long-standing client achieve their fundraising milestones, helping them with strategic acquisitions and ultimately assisting with a successful exit. I have recently raised venture capital for restaurants, online fashion brands, women’s health platforms and other technology businesses. I have experience raising SEIS/EIS/VCT funds from high net worth individuals, crowdfunding platforms, accelerators and VCT investors.

I have been lead speaker at various events including the INSEAD MBA Alumni Conference on directors’ duties, the Black British Initiative MBA 30 Masterclass on raising capital, the International Business Structuring Association seminar on growth funding, and Creative UK’s annual portfolio conference on preparing for exit.

I am passionate about raising autism-awareness and dedicate time to promoting equality and diversity in the workplace, particularly championing flexibility for carers. I’m a keen mentor and enjoy identifying and developing talent through the graduate recruitment process.

Out of work, I enjoy doing jigsaws with my son and building Lego with my daughter. As a family, we follow a lot of sports and keenly support Tottenham Hotspur.
