About

I specialise in M&A, venture capital and private equity. I have over 15 years’ experience advising high-growth companies, investors and founders on capital raises, acquisitions, exits and joint ventures. My practice focuses on transactions involving UK technology and other companies across a wide range of sectors, frequently with cross-border aspects.

I have extensive experience acting on M&A, venture and growth capital transactions involving high-growth companies, in which I represent PE or VC investors and buyers as well as companies, founders and management teams. I particularly enjoy the challenge of structuring transactions in order to strike the balance of alignment of interests between founders and investors that is crucial to success. I also enjoy bringing the diverse range of expertise within Fladgate to bear in order to help our clients to achieve their goals.

A lot of my work is international and I enjoy working with clients and lawyers in other countries. I have particular experience advising clients based in western and central Europe and the eastern United States.

Away from work, I am passionate about many outdoor activities and am usually happiest in the mountains or in or around water. I am also a keen guitarist and bagpiper.
