We recently worked with our client, Clipstone Investment Management, to advise on a milestone real estate joint venture transaction with Sixth Street.
Clipstone Investment Management is a real estate investment management firm specialising in top calibre South East multi-let industrial investments and Sixth Street is a leading global investment firm. Under the terms of the of the deal, the joint venture, C6 Industrial, has acquired a £350m portfolio of multi-let industrial real estate assets from a separate REIT managed by Clipstone. Clipstone will continue to manage the portfolio, with the intention to grow the portfolio to c£1bn of assets.
The high value joint venture required expertise from across our corporate, real estate, funds, tax and regulatory practice groups and benefitted from our deep sector understanding of this real estate sub-sector. Our team comprised Anthony Shatz, Jamie Hamilton, Adrian Mawlabaux, Nick Wood, Neal Todd, Kate Troup, Tyler Hilborne, Cassie Grace, Katy Vella and Robbie Howe.
