Our Services

Head of Department

The breadth of our construction and engineering practice means that we can support clients across a wide range of construction matters. With a large dedicated team which is home to lawyers who are equally adept at non-contentious and contentious construction, clients benefit from lawyers who are able to deal with all aspects of a project.  This includes troubleshooting, mediation, adjudication, litigation and arbitration, whether domestic or international.

The scale and duration of construction projects calls for specialist expertise in drafting and negotiating contracts. We have extensive experience advising on contracts for supply, installation, construction and facilities management, appointments, collateral warranties, bonds and parent company guarantees.

We act for many of the leading funds and investors active in the UK construction industry as well as a number of suppliers and an increasing volume of international clients. The team also has strengths in a number of key sectors such as cultural institutions, hotels and leisure, and PFI/PPP projects among others.

Fladgate LLP have specialist expertise in the construction field and an in-depth understanding of the market. They are second-to-none in their ability to run complex, high-value construction disputes with real attention to detail and excellent value for money for the client.
