I specialise in corporate law and advise on transactions involving private businesses, including M&A, equity investments and joint ventures.

Whether you are buying, selling or restructuring your business, entering into a new joint venture, investing or raising funds, my no-nonsense approach is to get things done, whilst helping my clients to navigate complex legal issues in order to protect their interests.

Noted as a key lawyer in Legal 500 UK 2022 for our M&A and Venture Capital practice areas, I specialise in transactions involving private businesses across a range of sectors, including technology, hospitality, infrastructure and real estate. My particular focus is on our Growth Capital practice, advising on equity investments and eventual exits.

I enjoy working as part of my clients’ team to deliver commercial and enterprising solutions. Our firm prides itself on partners not only taking the lead, but also remaining key points of contact and doing a significant amount of the detailed work. This allows me to remain closely involved in developing and delivering our service. As someone who has once skydived alone and for the first (and probably last!) time ever after only a 15 minutes tutorial, I would also say that I like a challenge and to test my agility. Luckily, my deal flow presents that opportunity.

I love travelling, which is often a road trip (much more fun for me than my husband who has to drive) as we take our Jack Russell everywhere - from Russia to Caribbean and anything in between. He is quite possibly the world’s most spoilt dog.

A team with the expertise, track record and resources to service a wide range of domestic and international clients on large-scale transactions, and our clients range from entrepreneurs to quoted multinational corporations, we have particular strength and an established reputation in the mid-market.

Advising on venture capital and growth capital investments, the team offers extensive experience of market practice enabling the delivery of VC fundraisings in a timely and efficient manner. Clients trust the team to work on unusual and complex matters and guide them through difficult investments which are frequently first-of-a-kind.

Our team provide real estate sector focused support bringing together corporate, tax and restructuring lawyers to deliver practical, commercially focused and often tax-driven solutions to a wide range of clients.

We have a detailed appreciation of the hotel industry’s dynamics and an understanding of the corporate, commercial, tax, real estate, planning and construction issues that affect businesses in the sector. This enables us to support clients in undertaking a wide range of sophisticated and complex transactions both in the UK and internationally.

The leisure sector is experiencing a period of accelerated change and expansion in response to new technologies and changing consumer behaviours. Drawing on the expertise of our diverse firm, our team provides advice on a wide range of legal and business challenges.

Our technology team covers the full range of advisory and transactional work, from day-to-day commercial advice, such as software licensing and channel arrangements, through to negotiating major systems procurement, systems integration and outsourcing transactions.

Through our extensive relationships with law firms around the world, our clients gain access to teams of lawyers worldwide with a deep understanding of the legal issues faced by businesses in the energy and resources sectors. We have particular experience of energy-related transactions in Africa and Eastern Europe.

We act across a broad swathe of corporate matters in the UK and internationally on both public and private deals.
