I am a senior associate in the Funds, Finance and Regulatory team.

I have experience acting for lenders and borrowers on a variety of finance transactions including real estate finance and project finance in Europe, the Middle East and Southern Africa.

Prior to joining Fladgate, I have worked in Johannesburg and London at international law firms acting for borrowers, senior and mezzanine lenders on a variety of transactions. I have a particular focus on real estate finance in the European market and have experience working on both development and investment financings.

Outside of work I enjoy travelling and eating my way through new cities and countries. I am an (amateur) wine enthusiast having spent many summers in the Cape winelands of South Africa.

Experience

Advised the owner of a private members’ club in relation to the refinancing of their existing facilities and expansion into the United States of America. Acted on behalf of the developer in respect of development financing of a hotel in Sheffield, England Advised a venture capital firm on the refinancing of an existing financing as part of their acquisition of an adventure company which operates across the United Kingdom. Acted on behalf of an asset manager on the refinancing of a property portfolio in London
