I am a dispute resolution specialist with expertise in complex commercial litigation, arbitration and cross border insolvencies.

I regularly advise clients on business-critical issues across a wide range of industry sectors such as banking, finance, M&A, private equity and oil and gas.

I have particular experience advising in relation to disputes arising in the context of complex cross-border insolvencies and restructurings. I also frequently act for private equity investors and their portfolio companies in relation to contentious issues.

My aim is always to deliver pragmatic and commercially-driven advice that has the client’s objectives at its core.

Outside of work I am typically found chasing my toddler and spaniel around the Surrey hills.

Acting for Argo Blockchain, the first Nasdaq-listed crypto miner to successfully implement a Part 26A Restructuring Plan (Re Argo Blockchain plc [2025] EWHC 3395 (Ch))

Acting in the first ever Court-approved “unsecured credit bid” in respect of $300m of Russian securities (Re Sova Capital Ltd [2023] EWHC 452 (CH)).

Acting for EFG Private Bank in response to a Norwich Pharmacal application raising novel points on without notice and seal and gag orders ([2024] EWHC 3087 (Comm)

Acting for a director in fraud and conspiracy claims arising from the sale of a collateralised loan portfolio worth over £100m.

Acting for an ad hoc group of noteholders, including BlackRock Global Allocation Fund, in its claim concerning the validity and effect of a US$850 million Islamic finance transaction ([2017] EWHC 2929 (Comm))

Acting for the Founder and CEO of a technology company in unfair prejudice proceedings

Acting on a $6.5 billion arbitration dispute between 1MDB and IPIC.

Acting for a leading global private equity house, in an ad hoc arbitration in London under UNCITRAL rules, and parallel High Court proceedings concerning an investment in communication networks in Africa

Acting for the special administrators of MF Global UK Ltd, on a variety of contentious matters concerning the estate, including the ambit of section 236 of the Insolvency Act 1986

Acting for Jinpeng Group, in multiple disputes concerning the Aman Resorts group of companies, including in Hong Kong arbitration proceedings under HKIAC Rules
