I am an insurance lawyer specialising in resolving complex coverage disputes for policyholders.

I have two years’ experience acting for policyholders across several lines of insurance, including property, professional indemnity, construction and warranty & indemnity. I have also undertaken a secondment in-house at Howden M&A, assisting policyholders with notifying and resolving claims under various buyer-side warranty and indemnity policies.

I have keen interest in ESG, climate change and environmental liability and the impact of these themes on insurance claims and the insurance sector more generally.

Outside of work, I enjoy weightlifting and yoga, alongside watching Liverpool Football Club (when we are winning!). I am also a keen advocate for neurodiversity – as someone who is dyslexic and dyspraxic, I want to raise awareness to ensure that neurodivergent individuals can thrive in the legal profession.

Experiences:

I acted for Butlins, the holiday-resort company, in a £60 million property damage and business interruption insurance coverage dispute caused by an extreme weather event.
I acted for a large contractor in a £50 million professional indemnity dispute concerning cladding remediation works following the Grenfell Tragedy.
I acted for a policyholder in an £8 million arbitration relating to a claim under a professional indemnity policy, following claims involving the misappropriation of client monies.
