I specialise in commercial litigation and arbitration. I have a wide range of experience in commercial disputes and act for UK-based and international clients across a range of sectors including financial and professional services, real estate and media.

I work across a variety of business sectors and a have wide range of experience in commercial litigation and arbitration. I also have experience in alternative dispute resolution processes such as mediation and expert determination. Most of my work has an international element.

I chose to specialise in dispute resolution because every dispute has a unique story and requires different skills. It is rewarding to be trusted by clients to present their side of the story in a persuasive and compelling way, and to be able to provide bespoke strategic advice in difficult circumstances.

I particularly enjoy getting to know my clients and developing a thorough understanding of their business or personal circumstances. For me, building strong relationships and identifying a client’s objectives right from the start of our involvement in a dispute are the key to devising practical and cost-effective solutions that achieve the best possible outcome.

Outside of work, I can usually be found eating, thinking or talking about food. I grew up close to the Jurassic coast in rural West Dorset and try to escape city life with my young family as often as possible.

Acting for the Claimants in a high-profile claim against a major bank involving allegations of misrepresentation and fraud.
Acting for a development manager in an expert determination procedure concerning a large-scale development in London.
Acting for a commodities trader in an ICC arbitration concerning contractual disputes.
Advising trust beneficiaries in connection with a complex contentious trust restructuring.
Acting for the Claimants in a High Court claim against an international tax advisory firm involving allegations of professional negligence.
