I am an associate in the Funds, Finance and Regulatory department at Fladgate, advising clients on complex financial transactions across a variety of sectors.

My work spans secured and unsecured lending, both on the borrower and lender side, with a particular focus on fund finance and sports finance.

In the fund finance space, my experience covers subscription line facilities, NAV facilities, hybrid facilities, as well as general partner or manager (GP) facilities for fund managers seeking to finance their co-investment commitments in both existing and new funds.

On the sports finance side, I have acted on a range of transactions, including acquisition financing for the purchase of football clubs, player transfer receivables factoring, and general corporate lending facilities.

Experience

Advised an international specialist investment firm on the negotiation of a subscription line facility of up to $1.2 billion for a newly-established infrastructure fund and, separately, on the negotiation of a $10 million General Partner credit facility with a UK bank.

Advised Bidco 1125 Limited on a £65 million acquisition financing for its recommended £85.4 million takeover of INSPECS Group plc (an AIM-listed company).

Acted for a US private credit lender on a €50 million acquisition financing of a football club in the Spanish LaLiga.

Acted for a Premier League club on a £80 million financing provided by a US private credit lender.

Acted for a Premier League club on a £55 million financing provided by a US private credit lender.

Advised a UK private equity fund on a £30 million hybrid GP line/NAV financing across five of its funds.

Acted for London & Regional Properties (L+R) on a senior sterling syndicated term loan facility secured from a pool of UK and international lenders for the financing of their Atlas Hotel portfolio consisting of 59 Holiday Inn Express and Hilton hotels across England and Scotland.

Acted for a UK bank on the negotiation of several GP credit facilities for fund managers of private funds based in the UK and Europe.
