I am a tax lawyer with a broad range of experience across multiple disciplines and sectors.

A key area of my expertise is in corporate M&A and private equity transactions, as well as in corporate real estate projects and associated tax advisory work.

Having worked previously as the London Head of Tax for a major global firm, I have significant experience advising on complex real estate transactions, advising funds, private equity, sovereign wealth and institutional investors on all aspects of the real estate investment cycle – with particular expertise advising on joint ventures.

I also act on contentious tax matters.

Experience

Advising Canary Wharf on establishing its JV with Land Securities to develop the ‘walkie-talkie’ building.

Advising a Qatari Diar /Canary Wharf JV on the structure for owning and developing the Southbank Place (Shell Centre).

Advising Blackstone of its JV with British Land in relation to the Broadgate Estate and subsequent disposal to GIC.

Advising Canary Wharf on its joint venture with Kadans to develop a life sciences building at Canary Wharf.

Advising Longfellow on a tripartite JV with Norges and PSP to develop life sciences assets in the UK.
