Intangible assets are increasingly where the value in any business lies, and I specialise in helping to leverage and enforce IP and related rights. 

Where personal or commercial data is at play, I provide realistic and digestible advice to navigate regulatory headwinds so as to minimise business disruption.

I work across a range of IP and data-rich industries, often dealing with technology-focussed businesses who are starting or scaling up. 

My work encompasses both contentious and non-contentious issues, meaning I can give a rounded and forward-looking view. I regularly act in proceedings before intellectual property offices, tribunals and courts in the UK. Working with local lawyers, I also manage cases in territories such as the EU, US and worldwide.

Legal and commercial issues can be knotty and uncertain. I always want to simplify those complexities and, using my understanding of my clients’ businesses, personalities and motivations, present solutions that guide lucid decision-making.

When I’m not working, I am largely operating as a climbing frame for my young children, maintaining my French and exploring new music, food and wines.
