Having spent over 10 years working in the Magic Circle, I have extensive experience of public M&A transactions. I enjoy the speed and complexity of a public takeover and have acted for numerous Main Market and AIM listed targets, as well as bidders, on both schemes of arrangement and contractual offers, including complicated consideration structures and challenging competitive bids. I also regularly advise on the Takeover Code.
I have over 18 years' experience advising on private M&A transactions. I regularly act for entrepreneurs selling their businesses and enjoy building strong working relationships with them, guiding them through the minefield of an M&A process to achieve what is often a life-changing event. I equally enjoy acting for acquisitive corporates, particularly on repeat acquisitions where we can work together to streamline their M&A process.
My practice spans a wide range of sectors. In recent years, I have developed an expertise in ecommerce, software and data, having acted on many deals in these sectors. I also enjoy the challenge of acting in new sectors and recent deals have included sectors as varied as cosmetics, medical parts and financial services.
While I regularly work on domestic transactions, I equally enjoy the additional complexity of cross-border M&A. I have a degree in Modern Languages and am fluent in Italian.

When I’m not at work, I have two children, two ponies, a Cairnoodle dog and eight chickens who (happily!) take up all of my spare time.
