Despite being a litigator, my aim is to help clients avoid litigation. Of course, sometimes litigation cannot be avoided. Where this is the case, I aim to resolve disputes swiftly and to my client’s benefit.
I advise private individuals and professional trustees on a range of cross-border estate and trust disputes. These encompass complex international breach of trust claims, trustee and executor removal claims, probate disputes and shareholder disputes involving family-run companies. I have advised on matters in the English Courts and internationally, including in the BVI and Liechtenstein. I also have experience in contested Court of Protection proceedings, including Deputyship applications, attorney removal applications and statutory will applications, as well as advising on non-contentious trust and estate matters.
I am a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and a member of the Contentious Trusts Association.
Outside of the office, I enjoy countryside walks with my dog and attempt to play a bit of cricket when (if) it isn’t raining…!
