I am a partner in the private client department at Fladgate. I advise UHNW/HNW individuals, families and trustees on tax and wealth planning. I have particular expertise in advising clients on corporate and trust structuring, including for holding international assets, business interests and real estate, and for succession planning purposes.

Before moving into private client, I spent 10 years working at global law firms, advising large corporates, funds and financial institutions on tax. With this experience, I am uniquely positioned to advise my clients on all aspects of personal and business taxation, both UK and international.
The majority of my clients are entrepreneurs with many demands on their time. They need me to anticipate problems, act quickly and provide solutions.
As well as advising on long-term structuring and succession planning, I work closely with Fladgate’s real estate, litigation, immigration and corporate teams to ensure that all of my clients’ legal needs are met.
I am passionate about Inclusion and Diversity and I am proud to take a leading role in championing I&D within Fladgate.

We support high net worth individuals and families, both in the UK and internationally, in identifying and then implementing the arrangements that best suit their individual needs.

Combing wide-ranging expertise and a deep understanding of the international art market, we are able to identify and deliver commercially informed, pragmatic solutions for our clients.

We provide an efficient and comprehensive service on all matters relating to the planning and administration of estates, wills and taxes.

We are well-placed to assist clients with all aspects of the ownership of significant personal assets to ensure an appropriate balance between commercial interests and family wealth planning.

Our expert tax team use strong relationships with specialist tax advisers in other jurisdictions to provide a fully integrated service for international clients and advise on transactions with an international dimension.

  • Advising a highly successful entrepreneur and angel investor on the structuring and establishment of a private fund for their international office.
  • Working closely with a UK resident, non-domiciled family to advise on a broad range of tax matters relating to the exit of their UK business, succession planning, tax residence status, domicile and charitable foundation.
  • Advising non-resident trustees on the UK tax position of an offshore trust structure, including liaising with HMRC to rectify historic filing errors and restructuring the trust to optimise the future UK tax position for the trust and beneficiaries.
