Fladgate is delighted to announce the appointment of family and matrimonial specialist Hetty Gleave as a partner in the Firm’s Dispute Resolution department.
Hetty deals with all aspects of family law, including Pre-Nuptial and Cohabitation Agreements, issues arising from the breakdown of a relationship, particularly financial issues arising from separation, and matters relating to children. She has particular expertise in dealing with complex financial settlements following divorce and children cases with an international element.
In addition to family law, Hetty is also known for her work relating to art and cultural property issues, whether or not contentious. These have included disputes concerning attribution, provenance, title, illegally exported and excavated goods and the restitution of cultural property.
Commenting on the appointment, Head of the Family Team, Teresa Cullen said: “We are delighted that Hetty has agreed to join us. She brings with her wealth of experience, leadership and strong market reputation to Fladgate enhancing the depth and strength of our team”.
Hetty’s broader contribution to family law was recently demonstrated by her recognition in the Citywealth Powerwomen Awards 2020 as an “Inspirational Woman of the Year”.
