Our Service
My clients, who are often international and entrepreneurial, rely on me to provide clear advice, in a responsive way, to help them achieve their overall objectives – I work hard to deliver practical solutions or clear alternatives where I have identified a problem. I’m practical and pragmatic, and enjoy the trust my clients place in me by involving me in all aspects of their lives.
My work is often complex and cross-border, particularly involving the Middle East. It ranges from UK tax advice for individuals moving to or from the UK, to matters relating to UK real estate. I also advise on family governance, business succession planning, as well as establishing wealth preservation structures.
Recently, I’ve been focusing on the impact of the increased move to transparency and the introduction of registers of beneficial ownership, in particular the Register of Overseas Entities.
I also advise on international pension schemes and other remuneration structures including individual pension plans (IPPs), employer-financed retirement benefit schemes (EFRBS), qualifying recognised overseas pension schemes (QROPS) and qualifying non-UK pension schemes (QNUPS). I act for both scheme trustees and their members to navigate what can be complex arrangements.
Outside of work I enjoy running, reading and travelling – sometimes combining all three!
Accolades:
- I am a member of STEP, including the International Client Global SIG.
- I am recognised by both Legal 500 and Chambers UK, including for my work with family offices and as an expert on matters relating to the Middle East.
- I am also recognised in the Private Client Global Elite Directory and the Spear's 500 Directory.
