Mythily Katsaris is a partner in Fladgate’s corporate department and co-heads Fladgate’s India desk.

She specialises in cross-border acquisitions and joint ventures, and has particular expertise in advising high net worth entrepreneurs on a wide range of business interests, including in the real estate, manufacturing, hospitality and leisure sectors.

Mythily identified and developed a niche practice in the acquisition and management of luxury assets such as vintage cars, yachts, light aircraft, private jets and helicopters. She heads Fladgate’s luxury assets group.

Mythily’s clients include Indian companies like Atul Limited, Sonata Software Limited and the Bird Group. Her clients also include several high net worth families in India and overseas, with assets and interests in the UK.

She acted for the investment fund that bought what is now the Taj hotel in the Burj Khalifa District, Dubai. The fund acquired an unfinished building, which it completed and then opened as a Taj hotel in 2015. Mythily was not only involved in the acquisition, but also the financing and refinancing of the development, as well as the hotel management arrangements with the Taj Group. She continues to be involved in ongoing affairs.

Her expertise is recognised the India Business Law Journal.

She is trustee of Sense, a national disability charity registered in the UK, that supports people with UK who are deafblind, have sensory impairments or complex needs.

Mythily was also shortlisted for the Women of the Future Awards 2017, in the professionals category.

She is dual qualified in England and Wales and India.
