Johnny Hatrick

I joined the firm in November 2025 just over a year after I qualified in September 2024. My practice is split across the energy and infrastructure sectors. I regularly advise renewable energy clients on finance, regulatory matters, tender processes and commercial & corporate transactions across all stages of a project’s lifespan. I also have experience advising clients involved in social infrastructure on core infrastructure matters.

I act for a broad range clients including asset managers, developers, generators, investors and financial institutions active in the energy and infrastructure sector. I enjoy the challenge of helping our clients contribute to and navigate the energy transition as they decarbonise energy generation. I am fascinated by the developing evolution of technology required to support a renewable grid and I enjoy the challenge of documenting nascent forms of technology for our clients.

Outside of the office I enjoy cooking for friends and family, and I have also been known to occasionally bake! I’m also an outdoors enthusiast and a keen hiker and I enjoy nothing more than a through hike when the weather and time permits.
